The Adelaide Hills Farmers Market in conjunction with Ride-a-Bike Right are encouraging
Adelaide Hills kids to get on their bikes this spring – and safely!
If your kids are dying to learn, want to get off of their trainers, or simply need to learn safe
riding skills, bring them to the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market on Saturday, 27 September for
a free Ride-a-Bike Right kids training session.
Mount Barker local, Marie, said after just one lesson her daughter Lily, 7, was riding on two
wheels. “My daughter Lily and I rode our bikes to the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market (Lily on
her trainers) and as well as buying lots of delicious things, Lily also attended the free Ride-a-
Bike Right session that was being held that same day. One session was all it took!”
“Ride-a-Bike Right has this teaching technique that makes so much sense, but we had never
thought to try it ourselves before! Lily was up and riding on two wheels within half an hour!
That’s it. From then on there’s been no stopping her. Now we can all ride to the Farmer’s
Market on two wheels. Lily’s chuffed!”
