FAQ’s for our 2024 Annual Twilight Market 🎄

Is this a normal Farmers Market?

Not quite! With over 60 stalls attending this year, the Twilight market is set to be the largest market we have ever held! There will be fresh and local produce, hot food, refreshing drinks, sweet treats, doggy eats, handmade arts and crafts, all the regulars, some exciting new stalls, music, entertainment, Live animals, and more!

Special Time and Date:

The Twilight Market is held in addition to our normal markets. It is a special market on Wednesday the 18th of December from 4:30pm to 8:00pm.

Location:

The Twilight Market is at our usual spot under the Elms at 23 Mann Street Mount Barker. We have opened up extra lawns for families to relax in. Bring a rug or a blanket and find a nice spot.

Are the regular Saturday Markets still on?

Our Saturday markets run as normal this week on both the 14th and 21st of December.

You can still get your regular weekly shopping done with ease at these markets.

Family Entertainment:

There will be face painting, glitter tattoos, and lots of  games and toys on the lawn for the kiddies to play with. We also have a special hands on reptile showcase from 5.30pm to 6.30pm – come and meet some snakes and crocodiles!

Parking:

There are 3 conveniently located carparks for shopping at the AHFM (see yellow), as well as a small amount of street side parking adjacent to the market. Car parking is also on available Stephen Street, around the public toilet block.

Toilets:

Public toilets are available on Stephen Street, a short 2 minute walk from the market

Accessibility:

Accessibility parks are located in front of the Anzac Statue at the Eastern end of the market. They are clearly marked with signage. 🎄

Payment information:

Whenever possible, our stallholders prefer cash, but all have the ability for card payments. The closest ATM is Bank SA on the corner of Walker and Gawler Streets, a 2 minute walk from the market. Commonwealth, Bendigo, ANZ, NAB, and Wespac also have ATM’s on Gawler Street.
