We’re excited to announce that the lovely locally grown Eastbrook Brussels Sprouts have arrived at the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market! 😍 These little green gems are bursting with flavor and packed with goodness straight from the fields to your table.
How to Cook Brussels Sprouts 👨🍳
Step 1: Wash thoroughly and cut an ‘X’ in the bottom of the stem to ensure even cooking.
Step 2: Choose your preferred method:
🌿 Steam: Steam for 7-10 minutes or until just tender, preserving their delightful crunch.
🌪️ Microwave: Place in a shallow dish with a little water and cover. Microwave on high for 5-7 minutes until tender. F
🍳 Sauté: Wash and halve the Brussels sprouts. Toss them with olive oil and cook in a fry pan for 10-12 minutes or until they’re soft and lightly browned, releasing their amazing nutty flavor.
Finally, after cooking, serve these delectable sprouts with a drizzle of lemon juice, a pat of butter, and a dash of salt and pepper to taste. Your taste buds will thank you! 😋
